Starlink returns, rentals and damaged equipment
The seller and the terms attached to your order determine the return route. If you bought or rented hardware directly from Starlink, initiate the return in your Starlink account. If you purchased from a retailer, ask that retailer about its return process. Satworks is an installation provider and cannot approve a Starlink account refund or generate a Starlink returns label.
Returning a Shop accessory
Starlink currently gives eligible purchases such as mounts, cables, adapters and routers a 30-day return window measured from delivery. In your account’s Orders area, choose the accessory order and look for Return. If the option is missing while you believe you are within the period, contact Starlink Support from the order promptly. Check Starlink’s current accessory policy before sending anything.
Returning a purchased kit
Starlink’s kit return flow is tied to the service line. In the account, open the subscription, manage it and follow the cancellation and hardware-return options if your kit is eligible. The account should tell you whether a return label is issued. The usual 30-day return rules depend on your order and local terms; do not send hardware without following the instructions on the account or from Starlink Support.
Rental and no-cost hardware
If your kit was supplied as a rental or promotional no-cost unit, cancellation may require you to return it, even where a purchased kit would have different terms. Use the label and deadline supplied by Starlink. Missing or damaged rental hardware can result in a charge under the applicable agreement; normal wear is generally treated differently. Check the rental terms attached to your order.
How should I pack the return?
- Disconnect power before removing cables or equipment. If the mount is at height or unsafe to reach, arrange professional help.
- Follow the stow instructions for your particular model where applicable; fixed units and Mini models may not have a motorised stow action.
- Pack only the hardware listed in Starlink’s return instructions and protect it in a suitable box.
- Remove or cover old shipping labels and follow any instruction concerning serial numbers on a reused box.
- Attach the issued return label and use the carrier named on it. Keep the receipt or tracking reference.
Satworks can help with safe deinstallation where the equipment is roof-mounted, but that installation work is separate from Starlink’s refund process.
What if the kit arrived damaged or stops working?
Photograph the packaging and the affected part. If it arrived damaged, raise a Starlink support request from your account with the order reference, photographs and current delivery address. For a fault after installation, first record any app alerts and check accessible power and cable connections without opening or modifying the equipment. Starlink decides warranty eligibility and replacement terms. Satworks can assess or replace an installation where a visit is required.
