At Satellite and Terrestrial Works Ltd, health and safety is part of how we plan and carry out our work. We aim to work safely on every job, from straightforward visits to more complex installations.

How we work

In our day-to-day work, we:

• Use equipment and tools that are suitable for the job and kept in good condition.
• Plan work, including Starlink installations, to reduce risks.
• Carry out risk assessments where needed, especially for work at height.
• Handle and move materials safely.
• Give our team the information, training and support needed to work safely.
• Communicate clearly on site so everyone understands the work.

Our team

Everyone working for us is expected to:

• Follow safe working methods.
• Use the correct personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Speak up if something appears unsafe.
• Report hazards or concerns so they can be addressed.

Standards

We work to recognised industry standards and hold SMAS (SSIP) accreditation and ISO 45001 certification. These reflect how we manage health and safety across the business.

Responsibility

Overall responsibility rests with the Director, who ensures this approach is followed and reviewed as the business develops. We continue to improve our practices as our work and responsibilities grow.
