These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern:
Your use of our Site;
Your purchase of products (including WiFi and broadband equipment); and
Your booking of installation or related services.
By using our Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
2. Your Status as a Consumer
These Terms apply where you are acting as a consumer (an individual purchasing for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession).
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under:
The Consumer Rights Act 2015
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
Any other applicable UK consumer protection laws
3. Use of the Website
You agree:
To use the Site only for lawful purposes;
Not to misuse the Site by introducing viruses or harmful material;
Not to attempt unauthorised access to the Site or its servers.
All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, images and software) is owned by or licensed to SatWorks and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, or exploit any content without our written permission.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
After placing an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This does not mean your order has been accepted.
A legally binding contract is formed only when we:
Confirm acceptance of your order in writing;
Dispatch the goods; or
Confirm your installation booking.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:
A product or service is unavailable;
There is a pricing or technical error;
We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
If payment has already been taken and we cancel your order, we will issue a full refund.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are in GBP (£).
Prices may change before you place an order.
Payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched or services are provided.
We accept payment methods shown at checkout.
If we discover a pricing error, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order.
6. Delivery of Goods
We use third-party delivery providers.
Delivery times are estimates only.
Risk passes to you when goods are delivered to your address.
We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered.
If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us promptly.
7. Installation Services
7.1 Scope of Services
We provide broadband and WiFi installation services as described at the time of booking.
Services may include:
Equipment installation
Router configuration
Cabling
Signal testing
Network setup
7.2 Access and Customer Responsibilities
You must:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the property;
Ensure power is available at the installation location;
Obtain landlord, managing agent or third-party consent if required;
Ensure a person aged 18 or over is present during the appointment.
7.3 Missed Appointments
If we are unable to carry out the installation due to:
No one being present at the property;
Lack of access;
Unsafe working conditions; or
Failure to prepare the premises as required,
we reserve the right to charge a missed appointment fee.
Details of applicable charges are provided in your welcome email and/or booking confirmation communications.
7.4 Service Limitations
WiFi signal strength, broadband speeds and network performance depend on:
Building layout and materials;
Interference;
Device capability;
External network providers;
Environmental factors.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not guarantee minimum speeds or full property coverage.
7.5 Third-Party Networks
Where services rely on third-party broadband or network providers, we are not responsible for outages, interruptions or delays caused by those providers.
8. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason.
8.1 Goods
You may cancel within 14 days from the day you receive the goods.
To cancel, you must notify us in writing (email is sufficient).
You must return goods within 14 days of cancellation. Goods should be unused and in their original condition.
We will refund:
The purchase price;
Standard delivery costs.
Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
You are responsible for return postage unless goods are faulty.
We may reduce your refund if goods show signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
8.2 Services (Installations)
You may cancel an installation booking within 14 days of booking.
If you request that installation begins within the 14-day cooling-off period, you:
Acknowledge that services may begin before the cancellation period ends;
Agree that if services are fully performed, your right to cancel is lost;
Agree that if you cancel after work has started, you must pay for services already provided.
9. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:
Of satisfactory quality;
Fit for purpose;
As described.
If goods are faulty, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Please contact installs@sat-works.com if you believe goods are faulty.
10. Goodwill Returns
In addition to your statutory rights, we may accept returns within 30 days of purchase provided goods are unused and in original packaging.
This does not affect your legal rights.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
Any liability which cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above:
We are responsible only for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach;
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant order.

13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
Severe weather;
Supplier or courier failures;

Government restrictions;
Industrial disputes.

We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available or error-free. We may suspend or withdraw the Site for operational reasons.
