Antennas & connectivity
Satellite and Terrestrial Works Ltd is committed to developing next-generation satellite and hybrid connectivity solutions for remote areas and places with limited infrastructure. Our research includes Low Earth orbit (LEO) networks and a hybrid satellite and cellular asset tracking system designed for low-coverage environments and areas affected by signal interference.
We are investigating RF performance, multi-network integration, low-power GNSS tracking, interference mitigation and durable outdoor electronics. We also aim to reduce the environmental impact of deployment in protected and rural areas. The goal is scalable, commercially viable connectivity technology for the UK and Europe.
Hardware
As an official UK installation partner for Amazon Leo, Satworks draws on practical installation experience to research, design and develop specialist mounting products for its equipment. Our work addresses different building types and mounting surfaces, equipment positioning, weather exposure, structural stability and long-term performance.
In 2025, Satworks founder Wesley Hutchinson installed the first residential Amazon Leo system in the UK. That first-hand experience informs our continuing research and testing of mounting solutions for professional installations across the country.
SAT:01
SAT:01 is Satworks’ long-term ambition to develop and one day launch our first satellite. The project remains exploratory and depends on technical feasibility, partnerships and funding.
We will share specific capabilities as they are developed and verified.
SAT:OS
SAT:OS is the software project we are developing to support the work behind satellite connectivity. We are drawing on practical installation and operations experience while keeping its detailed capabilities confidential during development.
Its aim is to strengthen consistency as Satworks and its partner network grow.
