Starlink availability, accounts and hardware
What does “sold out” or “at capacity” mean?
It means Starlink is not taking new residential activations for that location at present. Satworks cannot open network capacity or give a reliable date for it to return. Check your address on Starlink’s availability map. If Starlink offers a deposit or reservation for your address, use the official account flow and follow its email when an order becomes available. Business plans can have different availability; check Starlink Business separately.
Can I add another Starlink at a second address?
Each site needs its own suitable hardware and service line. Log in to Starlink and look for the option to add a subscription or order another kit. Availability is assessed at the new service address. Business accounts may offer a different multi-site ordering flow. Satworks can assess mounting, cabling and networking across multiple premises; Starlink controls the subscriptions.
How can a business order additional hardware?
Use the Shop in the business account for products offered there, confirm the address and payment method, and place the order. For a large deployment or purchasing arrangements outside the standard online checkout, speak to your Starlink account manager or sales contact. Satworks can plan the site survey, mounting and rollout after the equipment and service arrangements are confirmed.
What is an activation charge?
Starlink may show a separate one-off charge for some new service activations, depending on the plan, hardware and location. Review the amount and terms at checkout. Charges for service and equipment are set by Starlink, not by Satworks. Starlink says its first service bill normally occurs when the service activates or seven days after delivery, whichever happens first; check the terms on your own order.
Can I upgrade my hardware?
Check which equipment and plans are currently offered in your Starlink account. A new kit may need a new service line and cancellation of the former line, or a support-assisted replacement process depending on the account. Do not cancel a working service until you understand the activation and transfer steps for the new equipment. Satworks can help plan the physical replacement and assess whether the existing mount and cable are suitable.
Where are Starlink Mini, Performance and Router 3 available?
Availability changes by country, account type and stock. The Mini is a compact kit used with eligible plans; the Performance kit is aimed at higher-demand applications and is offered in selected markets; Router 3 may appear only in some Starlink shops. Use the Starlink Shop for your address and account rather than relying on a static country list. We can advise on the installation once you know which kit is being supplied.
What if my area is full or a product is missing from the Shop?
Do not assume a carrier’s ability to deliver means the service can be activated locally. Check Starlink’s address-specific availability and plan eligibility. If you need a temporary business connection while a residential order is pending, ask Satworks about available site-specific alternatives such as 4G/5G or another satellite service.
