Satworks is Starlink’s official installation partner.
Satworks became the first UK installation company to partner directly with SpaceX to complete installations of its Starlink broadband service. Satworks was awarded regions within the UK and aims to extend its coverage over the coming year.
Founded in Bolton, the company has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months.
Wesley Hutchinson, Managing Director of Satworks, said: “We have worked in the satellite connectivity market for 12 years, and Starlink has completely changed the industry. To be back at the forefront of our target market is incredible.”
Satworks was the sole installation company for several providers during the satellite broadband boom in 2015. Following the launch of Starlink, demand for traditional residential GEO satellite services fell significantly.
Satworks remains active in residential installations, but over the past five years has also focused on the business market. The company has established a strong position in the construction sector by providing on-site connectivity, while also delivering complex installations at renewable energy sites.
